The MOOK is published by Graphic-sha Publishing Co., Ltd. at graphicsha.co.com. It is a great compendium of various fashion dolls and commercial figures from Volks, Vento, Azone and doll designers such as Shigure Akagi, Hiroyuki Yasuda, and Gentaro Araki. There is 6 page pictorial of Gentaro Araki custom creations called Nude which was an X-box game for Microsoft Japan and Milky White. Overall an interesting find and highly recommended.

I was just in Japan- where in Akihabara, Japanese girls were looking to hang out with the otakus as a result a popular music video featuring them as well as other media coverage touting how cool they really are.

Gammedaily.com has an article covering the emergence of Adults Only MMO games by two Software developers using mainstream video game engines called Naughty America: The Game and Spend the Night. They will contain hardcore virtual sex but players can opt out. Sounds like adult themed games will have a growing following. One of the games is based on virtual dating and seems like there is a whole new niche yet to be explored.

Artificial Life and b.mobile have released V-girl which is a 3D animation game for mobile phones. Kinda like the date sims from Japan and a Tamagotchi, (if you remember those back in the day) where you have to win her heart. (probably giving her lots of Gucci or Chanel bags like all Japanese girls seem to want)

There is an article at azcentral.com and Arizona that covers sexy virtual babes in videogames and magazines. We don’t find any problems with that? Do We? Sex in media is always controversial especially dealing with technology. But it seems that games industry is primarily driven by males, which is sometimes if not often oriented toward eye-candy.
